The jajangmyun tasted so delicious!!!! I want to order more, I just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price especially since I'm on disability and don't get a lot of income.

My favorite jjangpom place in LA! It comes with huge clams, chewey noodles, spicy broth and a mix of other veggies and seasonings that blend well together and make this dish the perfect comfort food. Have to say that I was craving this in an almost 100 degrees weather, which shows just how really good this is. Of course, I always pair jjangpom with the tansuyuk sweet and sour pork) and the dough revolving the tender meat is just so savory, giving a good contrast with the delicate sweet sauce they pour over. The service was cordial and warm, everything was brought in very fast, and they have a good area to sit, with strong AC working very well (important info to be giving these days). Our attendant also offered me the disposable apron so I wouldn't stain my white t-shirt with the red broth, wich was very much appreciated.

Parking; they have their own plaza with a few spots, but there's also parking in the neighborhood Service: sit down restaurant with a handful of cooks and usually one worker. I always felt like I got good service whether the place was busy or not. The workers are so sweet and helpful. I've been going here for more than five years and felt that the dish quality hasn't gone down. The consistency of how delicious the food is doesn't disappoint basically. My go to order is black bean noodles with the pork and the sweet chicken. The soup I will say is alright but be careful because you could order the most spicy one on accident, so definitely check with the serve r

I've come here a handful of times when I'm craving black bean noodles and it's consistently a good experience! Of course the jajangmyeon is a favorite, and they offer additional radish if you ask! And then we always get the sweet and sour pork which is always freshly fried and never dry. The Jajang bap was new for us but it was better than I expected and would get again if craving rice.

I've seen this place while driving to Ralph's and one day on my way home, I decided to stop and check it out. I ordered the bokkeumyeon, egg noodles with veggies and pork and secret sauce. I was looking for something hearty for lunch. You know when you're hungry, you better not mess around or you will be disappointed. I went for the simple and delicious noodle dish. I was tempted to order a whole lot more to try, but, decided to come back another day to do that.

Visited this chain and found they maintain a commendable consistency across locations. Our go-to dishes, the Tangsuyuk and Jjajangmyeon, always hit the spot with their flavors. However, the portion sizes leave a bit to be desired, wishing they were a bit more generous. A tip for the Tangsuyuk enthusiasts: it's best enjoyed fresh and onsite. It tends to lose its charm when it cools down, becoming chewy. But kudos for packing the sauce separately--a quick air fry at home can bring back that crispy magic before you douse it in sauce.

Came here on a Friday for dinner around 7 pm. The parking lot is pretty tiny and shared with other businesses but luckily we got a free spot. We were greeted and seated immediately. The inside has high ceilings and feels modern and casual. The service was extremely friendly the entire time. We decided to order the jajangmyeon, jjamppong, tangsuyuk, and 10 pieces of the soy and garlic wings. When we paid at the end, the total was around $70 with tip. The prices were very reasonable. We didn't notice until after we ordered but you can double some of the entrees and it only costs $3. I would have definitely wanted to do this for the jajangmyeon and jjamppong. Next time! The flavors of the noodle dishes weren't super savory but still good enough. It was kind of what we expected for a fast casual chain. The three of us liked the jajangmyeon better but we still all liked the jjamppong. The tangsuyuk was very crispy and light but the sweet and sour sauce wasn't my favorite. I preferred very lightly dipping it and sometimes just ate it plain. The real star were the wings. Great flavor and very crispy. No complaints there. The pickled yellow radish also went well with everything and provided a refreshing bite. I would definitely come back to get the wings again and I would like to try the fried shrimp in mayonnaise cream sauce.

I still love this place. We somehow always forget about Paik's since it's out of our usual routes, but when we do come it always SLAPS. Prices have def gone up since my last review (which was 5 YEARS ago, like what?!) but still very reasonable for the portions and quality. Today we got the: -Gochu Jjamppong $13.95: SPICY! I'm typically skeptical of restaurant's "spicy" but this actually had a kick and then some. Had me coughing towards the end lol but lots of bits of protein and splittable portion of noodles for sure. -Jaengban Jajang $19.45: stir fried goodness. The squid legs are my favorite. These dishes with their picked radish is chef's kiss :,) Split both with my SO and still had a serving left of jajang to take home. Service is attentive and quick. The waitress marveled with us how hard it was raining (and even hailed!) lol. Heads up they close 2:30pm-3:30pm everyday for lunch.
